Dr Godfrey joined the practice in 1989, having completed his training locally, qualifying in Leicester in 1984. He set up the Asthma Clinic in 1990 and has run it since then. He is approved for Child Health Surveillance and Minor Surgery and is also invloved in the teaching of junior doctors in the practice.He is lead for prescribing issues, quality monitoring, audit and Information Technology.
Dr Zurub joined the practice in 1996 after he qualified in Dublin in 1988. He is an approved trainer and is involved in teaching junior doctors, he also runs the child health surveillance clinic, which is his specialist interest, along with cryotherapy. He is also our GP lead for health & safety,practice complaints, commendations and suggestions.
Dr. Cain (M) joined the practice in September 2014, having qualified at Leicester-Warwick Medical School in 2006. He has a background of undergraduate study of Biomedical Sciences BSc(Hons) from Manchester University and has been qualified as a member of the Royal College of GPs since 2011. He is Minor Surgery lead at the practice carrying out weekly minor operative procedures and cryotherapy. He is an approved trainer of GPs having been involved in teaching and training of junior doctors since his qualification in 2006.
Liam Massey MBChB, joined the practice in April 2016. He qualified from University of Aberdeen 1999.
Aenaone Wearn (F) joined the practice in 2013. She qualified from Barts and The London medical school in 2001. She then did her GP training in Oxford and has worked as a GP since.
Hillary is our Business Manager.
Elizabeth is the Practice Manager and will deal with any general problems, suggestions, comments or complaints you may have regarding the service.
Ross is our Reception Manager. He joined the practice in November 2016. Ross is responsible for the operations of Reception function of the practice and ensures that staff are providing the best service possible to patients. He is your first point of contact for any comments or complaints you may have. Ross is a keen sports fan, with a particular enthusiasm for Football and Boxing.
Are registered nurses who have undertaken further training. They deal with minor dressings as well as advanced wound care management. They also play a major part in palliative care for our terminally ill patients and liaise closely with the Doctors at the surgery and the Macmillan nurses. They provide skilled domiciliary nursing care for patients living in the community who are housebound or disabled. Their direct number is 01926 600818
There are many other members of the primary Health Care Team who are not actually employed by the Doctors, but who work closely with them. Many are based in the Health Centre.
